Super Sample

I ordered this new camera the other day that has four lenses. It was only 50 dollars and it’s called a Supersampler. This is a test shot I did out of my car window today.

abteen.org

I’ve been working on abteen.org. It’s really simplistic, but I like it. It’s pretty personal and I update it daily with little videos, pictures, drawing, stories, etc. You should check it out some time. As in now. And then you can go to tumblr.com and make your own account and add abteen.org.

I just updated with a spontaneous “lip dub” Brenda and I filmed after dinner tonight. It was filmed in my car while driving on Ventura. It’s on abteen.org . It will make you want to dance. Or sing. But mostly just sit in your computer chair.

Hot Rod

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

So The Lonely Island guys have this new movie coming out called Hot Rod. It comes out in August. Robert, Brenda, Ryan, and I saw a screening at the Sherman Oaks Galleria and let me tell you, it was hilarious. Some of the humor was a little childish at some parts but overall the film was laugh out loud funny.

After the movie, Jorma, Akiva, and Chez were standing outside the theater and we had a full on conversation with Jorma for about 5 minutes. He was very approachable, probably the nicest guy I’ve ever looked up to in my entire life, and I’ve lived for a while. I told him I wanted to get my picture with him but they wouldn’t let me bring my camera to the theater. He almost took his cell phone out to take a picture and presumably email it to me (what a nice guy) but one of the people in charge of the screening said we had to go get our gift certificates and leave. He walked us out the theater and continued talking to us, asking us where we’re going to college and whatnot.

Chez was pretty stealth, we only saw him for a split second, which is quite a talent for being so tall. And Akiva, the director, just looked really worried. He was standing outside just looking around. Inside the theater we also ran into Kenan Thompson. We didn’t talk to him, he was sitting in a taped off VIP section but he was there to support his SNL buddies.

In the end, I recommend seeing this film when it comes out. It’s very entertaining and it’ll make you laugh. Too bad you won’t get to meet Jorma when you see it! Sucker.
